About
Equipped with a BA in Philosophy and an MA in Marriage and Family Therapy, I bring a diverse skill set to my practice. Having lived in Costa Rica, I am bilingual and have a deep understanding of cross-cultural dynamics. I've also taught high school Spanish and served as a coach and mentor to various groups of young men.
Beyond therapy, I have a passion for health and wellness. With a background in nutrition, fitness, martial arts (I'm a 10th planet brown belt in Jiu jitsu!), and surfing, I believe in a holistic approach to personal growth and well-being.
My innate desire to protect and support others led me to become a therapist, but my commitment doesn't stop there. I'm thrilled to announce that we'll be offering exciting programs and outdoor retreats specifically tailored for male teens. These experiences will focus on fitness, self-esteem building, self-defense, and empowering you to become resilient, compassionate, and confident individuals. Join me on this journey of growth and discovery!
My Approach
My approach combines client-centered and solution-focused methods, incorporating elements of cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness. We'll harness your strengths, identify unhelpful thought patterns, and cultivate healthier mental habits to enrich your life.

We have a beautiful office for in-person therapy, and offer tele-health and outdoor therapy. Exercise is a necessary component of mental health. If you would like to change the scenery, or want to walk, let’s get those steps in as we explore what’s going on inside!
